Ideal Body Weight Vs Model’s Body Weight?

Question. Ok, my “ideal” body weight is 135 lbs (i’m 5 foot 7) and my range is between 120 to 160. People tell me that i am getting too skinny and i’m 145, wanting to get to 130. THey say that if I get any less than that i will look anorexic and unhealthy.
Now, that sounds logical but why do I find the measurements of a lot of models the same height as me that weigh under 110 and they look FABULOUS, not too skinny, not anorexic, nothing. They dont lookk unhealthy to me at all and they are curvy too.
Why cant I be like that? What’s the difference for them?

Don’t believe what you see in pics. Also unless you’re looking at nude pics.of these models you’re not seeing their body, you’re only seeing what they look like with altered clothing and touched up pics.As long as you’re comfortable with your body ,your self esteem and confidence in yourself will show way more than skin and bones.Contrary to a lot of what people think, men like some meat with their potatos!I know I do!Don’t sweat it,you’re fine just as you are,YOU!

The ideal body wt is for all women–models or not– for 5-7, 145 is fine. 130 lbs.? still fine. I know women who are 5-7, 130 lbs and they have plenty of meat to grab. So there!

    They’re probably photo shopped
or airbrushed to appeal to more people
Models aren’t as good looking in magazines/pics as they are in real life

Because they are VERY small framed a naturally non muscular, i.e. ectomorphs. If you are a mesomorph or endomorph then you will look horrific at that kind of weight.

Comparisons like this are dangerous! Forget models,
    just <>F- O- R – G – E – T <> them, please. (unless you are talkin about Elle McPherson, …)
Basic rules of thumb; no protrusive bones.
A thin layer of fatty tissue remaining.
    Plenty of energy
    Don’t feel the cold
Is based on your own body, not someone else’s.
Is due, and combined to [and or] with a healthy, balanced diet. (not dieting, where some foods are avoided)
Healthy food is whole, unprocessed, home made, and you wont get “fat”.
Your interpretation of “fabulous” is a type of bias, a value assumed as the result of homogenised propaganda, the subversive subconscious messages in advertising, the values of your society, and the messages expressed or conveyed by peers, plus additional embellishments along the way…
