How Does Water Help To Lose Weight And/or Body Fat?

I am aware of the importance of drinking water and remaining hydrated, but I wonder how does it help to lose weight…
I’ve been told that in order to lose weight i have to drink as much water as humanly possible, somebody else said to me I should drink 2 gallons per day — is this true? does it help to drink that much water?
thanks.

Water is the healthiest thing to drink. It doesn’t have sugar or carbs or anything in it. So it wil not make you gain any weight unlike sodas or juice. It also helps flush out your body of all the toxins in you’re body. It also helps you pee easier so you empty out all of you’re waste. It is also good for you’re skin. It keeps you’re skin healty and can help treat acne.

Hey…i was told when i first joined the gym by one of the personal trainers you need to drink about 80 oz of water per day. Which equals out to about 5 16 oz bottles per day. In order to generate new muscle your body must be hydrated. Plus it helps to regulate your metabolism.

it replaces the sugars and carbs you find in artificial juices and sodas. plus water contains 0 calories.
fyi…. drink cold water… why? if you drink cold water your body has to bring the water to body temperature and thats a process, so in return you burn more calories
