If Your Weight Is Already Ideal For Your Body, Would It Be Harder For You To Lose Weight?

Yea, so what if your weight is already “perfect” for your body and you still want to lose a bit of weight? Can you still lose weight and keep it off? Cuz I was watching on tv and this guy who was over weight would lose like 8-10 pounds in a week (I think)… Is that because he was overweight?

    1. Don’t believe what you see on TV. Even the news loses something in the translation.
    2. If you’re already at your ideal weight, why would you want to lose more? All that will happen is you’ll lose strength and get sick a lot.

i’m pretty sure there aren’t any physical changes… it would be harder to loose weight if your OVERWEIGHT, ‘caus your not fit, and it’s harder to excersize.

Anyone can lose weight if they really want to. This is why weight loss can be dangerous if someone loses weight when they are at their ideal weight to start with.
Anyone who is at their ideal weight is one of the luckiest people in the world. Maintain it, dont try to lose it…

Yes, it is harder for people who don’t have weight to lose to lose weight. Overweight people tend to lose weight quickly right after they start a diet plan because they are completely changing their diet plan and have more weight to lose than skinny people do.

Why on earth would you want to lose weight if your weight is perfectly fine the way it is,I think you have been watching all them anorexic models that could pass for a corpse,s.

Ya its because they have alot of weight that they need to lose…if you are eating the perfect amount and you are the perfect weight…and you try to lose more weight its kinda for nothing, cos your already eating a small amount, so you would have to eat a insanely small amount of food to be even smaller, so u would be a skinny person on a diet it just doesnt seem right to me…because there is no way you could keep up with it you would have to diet your whole life just to stay 5-10 pounds smaller when you could just eat a normal amount of food that your body needs for a perfect weight? lmfao if u get what im sayn.

Yes, i think it was because he had so much fat in the first place. If you’re already quite lean, it’ll be quite hard to lose the little fat you have.

Yes as you get down to a healthy BMI (body mass indes), your body has less fat cells to convert to fuel when you’re exercising and so on. That’s why everyone says those last 10 lbs. are the hardest. You can try shocking your system by increasing your calorie intake for a few days. Nothing drastic just a little more than your body is used to, and then go back to your original diet. This works for many people. Kind of “jump starts” your system again. And those last lbs. should come off. But if youre already at a healthy weight I see no need for you to continue with a strict diet.
